There’s MySpace, Friend Feed, and Facebook Fan pages. But what about the Twitter? All the cool kids are doing it and you should to. What if you’re traveling and need some real-time answers from the airlines, but their customer service lines are full or busy?

Can you tweet your needs?

Here are some of the Airlines on Twitter and if they’re worth following at the moment.

Soutwest Air @SouthwestAir – They are really staying on top of their game with all the Twitter LUV and free honey roasted peanuts. They always appear at major tech conferences, showing that they realize the value of a tweet.

Jet Blue @JetBlue – This has to be the most popular Airline Twitter account. Various employees are on duty to engage, entertain, and inform followers.

Emirates Airlines @FlyEmirate – New account. We’ll see how they keep up with things.

Delta Airlines @DeltaAirlines – They started out strong and have a decent number of followers, but someone must’ve lost the password because there hasn’t been a tweet from this account since May 2008.

American Airlines @AmericanAir – Wow, with only 3 updates since they opened the account, one of which is:
We’re trying to engage directly with our customers through new media. The blog ran into some issues and wasn’t up to our standards.
Umm. Twitter must not be up to your standards either. Your last tweet was in August.

Vision Airlines @visionair – I like their website layout. Groovy.

Iberia Airlines @IberiaAirlines – I don’t understand Spanish.

Asiana Airlines @AsianaAirlines – Their Twitter account. Well apparently that didn’t fly either.

LAN Airlines @LAN_Airlines – Their Twitter account is set to private. Thanks for your openness.

The LA Times travel section wrote a post on taking kids to Las Vegas. At first, when I saw this post referred at TravelSavvyMom.com, I became a bit offended at the thought of people actually taking their children to visit Vegas, and that ANY travel blog would have the audacity to promote this assinine idea.

I went on to read throught the LA Times post and realized that the author did not actually agree that Vegas was a family destination either. Judging from the context of the TravelSavvyMom post, I was under the impression that LA Times Travel was insane, but further review of the content showed just how grounded LA Times Travel author is.

The Capital Hotel in Knightsbridge is a haven of romance in the heart of London. This five star establishment offers standard rooms to a private two bedroom suite with its own private entrance. The rooms are superb, but the amenities are what set it apart from other lodging choices in London.

Check in at The Capital is an introduction in elegance and sophistication. The cozy lobby is decorated in warm tones that welcome guests to their temporary home. The hotel offers a bar, restaurant, lobby computer, and a sitting room where afternoon tea is served.

The concierge, Clive, knows what is happening around the city and how to make the most of your visit. He can arrange spa treatments at Harrods or an elegant evening at the ballet. He can also make restaurant reservations and suggestions for dinner; however, The Capital boasts one of the finest two star Michelin restaurants in the world. Chef Eric Chavot is a delight in and out of the kitchen.

I was fortunate enough to stay in the two bedroom suite, which is decorated in soothing tones of blue and a bit of brown for elegance. It has a kitchen, dining room, two full baths, a study area, and two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with two twin beds. One bathroom has a walk-in shower. The main bathroom boasts a large soaking tub, complete with votives and bath salts for that romantic bath. All bath products are Moulton Brown.
